It's been a very busy October here in Maryland's Third District. Here are a few photos from just a handful of events I've attended in a terrific first month of fall:
My dad and I had the privilege of participating in a fundraiser for Emerge Maryland in honor of my dear friend Senator Barbara Mikulski at the historic Senator Theatre in Baltimore City [Photo: Aaron Curtis].
I had a great time at the NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland Chocolate Gala celebrating the important work they do to preserve reproductive rights in Maryland.
It was exciting to be a part of the grassroots energy in Annapolis, where I spoke to over forty volunteers who came out to canvass for Democrats in the city's elections.
I enjoyed good food and better company at the West County Democratic Club's Cookout.
I spoke with Together We Will Howard County about the effects of big money in politics and how cities and states across the country are fighting back to return to a government of, by and for the people.
These are just a few of the wonderful events I was able to attend this month. Be sure to follow me on social media to keep up with what's going on in the Third District.
